As designated within the 2023 FIA Tech Regulatory Protocol (the Protocol) language, recipients of Transition notices have the option to reject a proposed transition during the Transition Notice Period, to prevent associated agreements from being updated by a Transition. Similarly, firms who have adopted the Protocol have the option to revoke their previous adoption, rendering their agreements ineligible for transitions via the Protocol.
Transition Rejection: In-application
Conformed users of the Docs application may reject a given transition or specific agreements directly within the Transition Center, through the Received Notices page.
Transition Rejection: Outside of application
Non-conformed Protocol Adopters may reject either an entire proposed transition, or a subset of agreement within a given transition by means of Rejection Notice, attached to this article and detailed within Annex 2 of the 2023 FIA Tech Regulatory Protocol.
Protocol Revocation: In-application
Conformed Party Admin and Execution Phase Approver users of the Docs application may revoke their adoption of the Protocol via the UserHub> Agreements & Protocols page, by selecting the vertical ellipsis icon on the left of the row for a given legal entity, and "Revoke".
The following message will be presented, detailing the nature of the revocation, which a user may Cancel, or select OK to complete the revocation process.
Once revoked, firms may re-adopt the Protocol at any point by navigating to the Agreements & Protocols page, selecting the vertical ellipsis, and "Adopt".
Protocol Revocation: Outside of application
Non-conformed Protocol Adopters may revoke their previous adoption of the Protocol by means of Revocation Notice, attached to this article and detailed within Annex 3 of the 2023 FIA Tech Regulatory Protocol.
