In December 2018, FIA and affiliate FIA Tech, announced new technical guidelines for firms to properly identify the correct brokerage when executing and clearing exchange traded derivatives. All FIA Tech services including Atlantis, Docs and eRecs will utilize these standardized execution methods. These published guidelines are currently supported by CME Group, Intercontinental Exchange and Eurex Group, and other exchanges are expected to follow. Effective November 17, 2019 CME Globex began to require and validate tag 1031.
