- What is XCA? Execution Cost Analysis, or XCA, enables users to view their universe of trading costs across their counterparties - including Brokerage rates listed on existing give-up agreements, Exchange and Clearing fees, and more - in a single view. XCA allows users to easily search for costs both for a selected Product, or for the roster of products executed with a selected Broker.
- How can I access XCA? XCA is available within the top toolbar of the FIA Tech platform, alongside Docs, Atlantis, OCR, TDN, and Databank, with the XCA link displayed for permissioned users. Here is the direct link to XCA. For more details on how to Navigate XCA, please visit Navigating XCA.
- What data does XCA include? XCA incorporates Brokerage rates from Standard and EFP agreements, displaying Executed Agreements by default, with the option to include In-Flight agreements (Composition, Execution, and Stale states). Additionally, XCA incorporates Exchange and Clearing fees, sourced from the Exchange Fees Databank (EFD) dataset, with links back to source data. XCA also supports Clearing Commissions sourced from firm's Fees & Commissions Repository (FCR) datasets for subscribing firms.
- How can I subscribe to XCA? Firms currently have access to XCA under a free trial until the end of Q1 2026, after which XCA will be available based on multiple subscription tiers, via an in-application Opt In workflow. Subscription tiers and additional details will be made available in the coming months.
- If a give-up agreement rate exists at the product group level, how will it appear in XCA? XCA expands all source rates to the individual product level, allowing users to view rates for specific instruments, regardless of whether the underlying schedule has been created at the Exchange, Group, or individual product level.
- What GUAs are displayed in XCA? By default, results will be shown based on a firm's Executed agreement universe, however, users may choose to include draft agreements (Composition, Execution, or Stale) via the Document State dropdown.
- I need to make updates to some of my rates. How can I do this? XCA allows users to directly access GUAs through the Source ID link within the Details grid, and then perform any necessary updates within the underlying agreement. Updates may be done through the standard Docs rate schedule workflow or through FCR. For more details on the rate schedule creation in Docs, please visit Rate Schedule Creation in Docs and for FCR updates, please visit FCR Schedule Creation
Future improvements coming soon:
