We are enhancing the Docs Rest API feed to improve on expanding agreement details & the support of new rate types. FIA Tech Client Ops has reached out multiple times via email and on calls with identified Docs firms still using Docs API v1 to ensure readiness ahead of the decommission date. As such we will now be moving to the next stage of decommissioning the Docs API v1 on July 31st, 2026
- The only exception to this is v1 of the Parties API call
Key benefits:
- Expanded Agreement Details (expands product groups out into individual products)
- Visibility to additional information (Agreement Legal Language, Comments, History & Workstream Status)
- EFRP/Block agreement templates – which list a "Broker" role
- Support of New Rate Types (BPSRateType, BPSTradePrice & BPSUnderlierPrice)
- Customization of the agreement text
- Conformed/non-conformed status of agreement parties
Action required:
- Current API consumers are requested to ensure their development teams are aware of the changes & are in position to move to the enhanced schema ahead of the decommission date.
- More details on both versions may be found in the footer of the Docs page
