Overview

In October of 2024, Miami International Holdings, Inc., the parent company of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX, or MGE in Docs), announced the exchange name was changing to MIAX Futures Exchange (MIAX). All of the existing Hard Red Spring Wheat products, including MU1, MWE and OMW can now be found on MIAX. Since only the exchange name was updated, and the Segment MIC, Product Group and Product Codes all remain the same, FIA Tech updated all electronic rate schedules that (1) currently contained these three products, and (2) were attached to either non-Terminated GUAs or in rate schedule libraries. This update took place in Docs on June 3, 2025 after discussion with several broker entities. 

Rate Schedule Updates

te schedule updates for this migration were made as follows: 

Individual Products had NO CHANGE - Rate lines for the individual “Current” products remained as is on the rate schedules

Product Groups – Rate schedules listing the exchange "MGE" and product group of "Ag-USD" OR “All” remained on the rate schedule, but individual rate lines were inserted for the three individual Products listing the exchange as "MIAX". 

Updates were made to: 

• All GUAs In the Composition, Execution, Executed, Stale, Pending Initiation, and Initiation Rejected states
• All FCR documents that were not in Archived or Deleted states
• All rate schedules in libraries (FCR and GUA)
• Only on agreements where the “New” products did NOT already exist
