Overview
FCR Fees & Commissions schedules can be created and managed in the Fees & Commissions Rate Schedule Library.
All Fees & Commissions schedules follow the same standard format and can be created in 2 ways-
- Build New
- Upload New using the Download Template
Build New
After selecting Build New, the schedule requires and name and assigned party
Next, the Rate Schedule builder is opened. Users may begin to add rate lines by selecting “Add your first line” then selecting from drop-down fields within the schedule, beginning with Region. Users also have the option to create a schedule from an existing template in the library.
Each rate line can contain an Execution Commission rate only, a Clearing Commission rate only, or both an Execution Commission and Clearing Commission. At least one of these rates must be entered per rate line.

The schedule can be saved as a draft by selecting Save as Draft. When the schedule is complete select Save & Publish.
The schedule must be in a Published state in order for it to be available for users to associate to FCR Documents. The schedule is now available in the Template Library view and available to be applied to FCR Documents for assigned party.
Exchange Fees and Clearing Fees will populate on the schedule at the Document level. The Exchange Membership set for the Client on the Document will affect how fees are populated on the schedule.
Upload New
The FcsRs Template file will need to be downloaded to use the Upload option.
Select the Download Template from drop down.
Within the template excel, user will add rate lines using Docs product reference data. Product information can be viewed in the application or downloaded for reference in the Products page under the Product & Rates menu.

Once the FcsRs Template file creation is complete, the file is uploaded to the Fees & Commission library.
Select the Upload New option and upload the saved FcsRs Template file. The name of the file in the library will be the same as the file name when uploaded.
When uploading the file, a party must be assigned.
After uploading, any errors will be displayed in a red error message at the top of the screen. Users can expand to view the exact errors.
The FcsRs Template file must be corrected for flagged errors and re-uploaded to the library.
The schedule will open for review/ editing. User must select Save & Publish when complete and the Template becomes available to attach to FCR Documents for assigned party.
