Re-affirmed Atlantis trades now have the ability to settle in the current cycle through the new re-affirmation workflow!
Beginning with the July 2026 Settlement Cycle, there is a new workflow for trades that require a rejection and re-approval.
The process starts with the Receiver affirming the trade before the Receiver Lock. At the time of the Receiver Lock, the most recent affirmation must have occurred during the current settlement cycle, and the Reviewer must be the Payer.
If the Payer rejects the trade before the Payer Lock, the Receiver will need to re-affirm the trade before the Payer Lock. Once the trade has been re-affirmed, the Payer can re-approve it.
By completing these steps before the applicable lock times, the impacted activity remains settlement eligible in the current settlement cycle!
Re-affirmed >Receiver Lock < Payer Lock to be eligible for the open cycle
• •PSIM: June 1st / PROD: June 15th (Sprint 319)
New Workflow - effective July Settlement Cycle:
•Receiver affirms before Receiver lock
⎼Most recent affirmation must occur in the current cycle & be Reviewer = Payer at lock
•Payer rejects before Payer lock
•Receiver re-affirms before Payer lock
•Payer re-approves -> trade(s) settlement eligible
Outcome: Impacted activity is settlement eligible in the current cycle
