Introduction
The eModule is a macro-enabled Excel file (.xlsm) containing all current product reference data in Docs at the time of downloading the file.

To assist with the creation of the eModule, firms can benefit from a full understanding of the Exchange, Product Group, and Product structure within Docs.
The current Docs Product Report is available on the FIA Tech website at the following URL:
http://fia-tech.com/product-report
This report can be accessed via the black bar at the bottom of the Docs application.
Download Current eModule File
The current eModule may be downloaded from the Rate Schedules section of the Docs Application.
To ensure most up-to-date reference data, please either download new eModules or new copies of existing schedules, when creating new rate schedules.
Accessing the downloaded eModule
After opening the file, enable editing and macros as required, to ensure that all necessary features are available in the eModule.
Basic eModule Set Up
Required Fields:
The following fields are required within the eModule:
- Region
- Exchange Code
- Product Group Name
- Product Name
- Product Type (auto-fill)
- Currency (Brokerage currency - auto-fill, editable)
- Rate Type
- Exec Type
- Default Y/N
- Brokerage Amount
- Note: If %Notional or %Premium are selected in the Rate Type column, be sure to enter percentages in the Brokerage Amount column as whole numbers, and not as fractions of 100. A rate type of percentage notional or percentage premium with the amount value of 15 percent should be entered as 15.00000, not .15000.
Optional fields:
The following fields are optional within the eModule
- Trade Type
- Spread Type
Adding/Removing Rate Lines
Rate lines may be added or removed using standard Excel functionality.
Validating eModule
Once a rate schedule has been created, use the Validation tool available in the eMODULE tab of the top excel ribbon to review data entries.
File errors will be noted in a validation pop-up and will be detailed in the ErrorLog tab.
Once all errors have been reviewed, corrected, and validated, you may upload your rate schedule into Docs.
