Overview
FIA Tech has implemented Two-Factor Authentication for logging on to Accelerate Apps. Unless requested otherwise, Two-Factor Authentication will only be applied when a user logs in from a new IP address.
Prompt
Upon logging in to one of the Accelerate Apps (Atlantis, Docs, OCR), users will be prompted to enter an authorization code (Figure 1). As mentioned above, by default, this prompt will only appear when a user logs in from a new IP Address. Users can request to have it set up for every time they log in as well.
Figure 1.
An automatic email with the authorization code will be sent to users when the prompt appears. Emails are sent to the email address associated with the username that was entered. Users have ten minutes from the time the email is sent to enter the authorization code.
The automatic email will come from UserHub Support (userhub.support@fia-tech.com). The email contains the authorization code, contact information, and next steps for if the code has expired (Figure 2).
Figure 2.
Users should enter the authorization code from the email in the prompt on the login screen.
Login to App
Once the authorization code has been entered, users will be taken back to original login screen. Users will enter their login credentials like usual and will be logged into the system.
Participant Admins (Atlantis and OCR) and Party Admins (Docs) can request that Two-Factor Authentication be applied every time a user logs in and a Client Services team member will help facilitate the request. Requests can be sent to any one of the following inboxes – Atlantis Support (atlantis.support@fia-tech.com), Docs Support (docs.support@fia-tech.com), OCR Support (ocr.support@fia-tech.com) or UserHub Support (userhub.support@fia-tech.com).
