Archived Trades Report

Summary

After an appropriate amount of time has elapsed FIA Tech archives trade activity in Atlantis removing them from the platform.

Every time an archival of unsettled trades is performed a report is run and posted in the Atlantis Notifications tab and made available through the SFTP (https://support.fia-tech.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260807406649-Atlantis-SFTP-Connectivity) so that users can view the archived trades at any time.

Archived Settled Trades

Settled Trades: After 14 settlement cycles. Runs the 1st Saturday of every month

After a settled trade is archived, it can be referenced in the Final reports of the settlement cycle in which the trade settled.  Older Atlantis Final reports can be retrieved through the SFTP. You can read more about that here.

Example: Jan 2025 Settlement Cycle trades were archived on March 7th 2026

Archived Unsettled Trades

Unsettled In-Eligible Trades: Trades that remain ineligible after 13 months of being on platform are archived on the first weekend of the following month. Runs the 1st Saturday of every month.

Example: Feb 2025 trades were archived on March 7th 2026

Frequency: Report is produced post EOC completion

Category: Atlantis Backlog Remediation

Content: Report of outstanding ineligible to settle Receivables and Payables for Participant slated for archiving by FIA Tech. Each report is split by Trade Year. Participants receive separate reports for Receivables and Payables

Suggested Use: Provides firms a view of trades that will be archived from Atlantis to enable manual invoicing where applicable

Unsettled Eligible Trades:, Settlement eligible trades that remain unsettled after 25 months of being on platform are archived on the first weekend of the following month. Runs the 1^st Saturday of every month.

Example: Feb 2024 trades were archived on March 7th 2026

Unsettled Archive Reporting Dates

When locating a report of archived trades in either Notifications or via the SFTP, it is important to know:

1. Were the trades actually archived?
2. When were they archived?
3. When was the report run and posted prior to archiving?

Use the dates in the above tables to locate the relevant Archived Trades Report. As more trades are archived, these tables will be updated by FIA Tech.

If you are unable to locate the reports you need or if you do not have access to the SFTP, you may submit a request for the report to atlantis.support@fia-tech.com. In your request, please be sure to provide the time frame of archived trades you wish to view and if you want to view Settled or Unsettled.

*Settlement Ineligible trades are identified by one of the following Cannot Settle Reasons: 

• Receiver & Payer are the same
• Receiver Participant Off Platform
• Payer Participant Missing
• Payer Participant Off Platform
• Receiver Participant Missing
• Fee Cancelled
• Fee Settlement Suppressed by Receiver
• Fee Settlement Suppressed by Payer
